Called the “land of a thousand hills,” Rwanda is the highly elevated home of 13 million Africans. With the help of government leaders, the country has celebrated remarkable development successes over the last decade, including high growth, rapid poverty reduction, and reduced inequality. However, the people continue to face challenges like energy shortages, instability in neighboring countries, lack of adequate transportation systems, and health issues.
LIA began partnering with local churches in Rwanda in 2015. The team has since expanded and focuses on undertaking projects that support communities in the areas of economics, health, education, and social engagement.
LIA-Rwanda Projects
An education project in country is aiming to support children from vulnerable families. We've given 40 goats to students in need to help pay school fees and provide other educational necessities. They are passing this help onto others.
