The Global Missions Conference-Africa 2023 has a three-fold purpose:
- To encourage the Church in Africa to pursue the discovery and creation of the new wine skins God has prepared for the 21st century (Ephesians 2:10) so that the new wine he is already making will not be spilled (Luke 5:37-38).
- To unleash the capacity and potential of a new generation of Christ-followers to fully embrace their call to pursue wholistic impact by fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 22:36-40), the Great Commandment (Matthew 28:18-20), and the Great Concern (Matthew 25:31-45) in whatever vocation God has called them to serve him, especially in the field of healthcare.
- To support the emerging new role of the Global South Church as the new Center of World Christianity and to strengthen and maximize Global South-Global North missional collaboration for the global glory of God.
Presentations by respected Christian leaders and interactive panel discussions will wrestle with burning issues facing the Church as it faces the health and economic challenges in this post-COVID time. This year’s sessions, packed with practical guidelines and solutions will help participants navigate their own journeys while promoting and facilitating healthy partnerships between Global North and Global South partners, so together we can pursue wholistic impact for the global glory of God.
Every session will intentionally capacitate the Church in the Global South new wine skins strategies as it embraces its emerging role as the new Center of World Christianity and God’s plan for wholistic community transformation.
