Why We Are Climbing
Life In Abundance is now partnering with Mosiro churches and the community in order to empower them and bring abundant life through wholistic transformation. We are climbing to support this work.
The Mosiro community is found in Narok County, in the Rift Valley region of Kenya. The dominant people group is the Maasais, who speak the maa language. The region has been severely affected by drought and famine, causing a loss of livestock that the people depend on for their livelihood. The Maasai value their cultural traditions, but still uphold some traditional practices that suppress the voice of women, encourage FGM and limit the choices available to young men.
