Growing Generosity

In 2 Corinthians 9:6-15, the apostle Paul equates generosity with the act of sowing. The Lord supplies the seeds, but each of us are called to scatter our gifts; to be generous every chance we get with whatever it is we have. When we are faithful to plant potential, Paul says God is able to “make all grace abound” and will “enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”

At Life In Abundance we have seen how the Lord’s righteousness endures when we plant generously. This year alone we’ve served over 275,000 individuals in Africa and the Caribbean, bringing abundant life through programs and trainings that focus on evangelism and discipleship, social engagement, community health, education, and economic empowerment.

Yet that is just the beginning. We are so honored to say that the locals we partner with continue to produce good fruit long after our work is done. Our unified generosity breaks chains and spreads hope.

As one pastor we work with in Jamaica says, “All of us have something that we can give to advance the kingdom of God. We can impact a community through planting seeds of generosity.”
