The Global Missions Conference-Caribbean exists to pursue and promote wholistic innovation by supporting the local church to fulfill the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20) and the Great Commandment (Matt 22:36-40) as it focuses on the poor and vulnerable (Matt 25:31-45).
Thank you to the more than 800 delegates who registered for and attended the 2025 conference, making it such a success. This year, we met in the beautiful auditorium of the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (on Bongani East Road, off Magadi Road, Karen, Nairobi).

She is a graduate of University of Nairobi Medical School, holds an MD and master's in public health as well as a diploma in urban poor theology from Fuller Seminary. She is married to Dr. Festus Muindi and a mother of 2 sons. Dr. Florence is a servant and committed follower of Jesus Christ, fulfilling the Great Commission. Her dream is to equip the local church to restore health, renew hope and inspire lasting transformation of the most vulnerable children and families so that they may have life and have it in abundance.



He previously served as Africa Regional Director for Oikocredit, a Netherlands-based global impact investor, and later as Head of the East Africa Secretariat for the New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD)—a presidential appointment in which he coordinated high-level political and policy dialogues with senior government officials, corporate leaders, and development partners. His career has spanned senior roles in business development, strategic advocacy, and resource mobilization for transformative initiatives across the continent.
Pete is the author of How to Start Your Own Small Business (1990) and Africa’s Moment (2002), the latter now being expanded into a new edition to be published later this year. An unwavering Afro-optimist, he is widely recognized for his writings, public speaking, and advisory work on African leadership, economic transformation, and the future of enterprise. His guiding mantra is: “Inspiring Hope; Making a Difference.
Pete is married to May Ondeng and has two adult sons, Benjamin and Brian.

In Ministry, Rev Kwame has served in leadership roles as an Overseer, Head of Discipleship, Cross-cultural Missions (in the United States of America), international Christian Radio, Professional Mediation and a Pastor for over the past 43 years. Served on a number of Boards for Christian organizations, including LIA International, currently on the Boards of the African Council for Accreditation and Accountability – AfCAA and the International Christian Media Commission – ICMC.
Rev Kwame read Physics at the University of Nairobi and Communications (masters) at the Oxford Center for Missions Studies.
He is an avid photographer, writer (poetry and scripting online presentations) and Formula 1 fan. He also enjoys listening to Christian Podcasts and mentoring young leaders.

Rev. Kwame Rubadiri is Head of Digital Ministry at Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM), Nairobi, and a highly regarded communications expert and consultant. His work spans communications strategy, resource mobilization, and leadership development, providing guidance to organizations across Africa and beyond.
With over 43 years of ministry experience, Rev. Rubadiri has held leadership roles as an Overseer, Head of Discipleship, cross-cultural missionary in the United States, international Christian radio professional, mediator, and pastor. He has served on several boards, including LIA International, and currently sits on the African Council for Accreditation and Accountability (AfCAA) and the International Christian Media Commission (ICMC).
Rev. Rubadiri studied Physics at the University of Nairobi and earned a master’s degree in Communications from the Oxford Center for Missions Studies. Outside of ministry, he is passionate about photography, writing poetry and online scripts, and is a Formula 1 enthusiast. He also enjoys Christian podcasts and mentoring young leaders.
Married to Emmy Rubadiri for 39 years, Rev. Rubadiri is the father of two adult daughters, Victoria and Mabel, and a proud grandfather to Neema.

From serving as Senior Vice President for World Relief and directing global initiatives for Saddleback Church to building innovative programs for other reputable global ministries, and serving as pastor at churches with membership of 100 to 23,000, he has invested his life to equip and serve the church and its pastors around the world to seamlessly integrate word and deed ministries that transform communities, especially through initiatives focused on women and children. His passion for seeing Christ proclaimed where there is no church and strengthening the church where it barely exists, has resulted in ministry on four continents and more than a hundred countries serving the least, the lost and the last. He completed his PhD in Intercultural Studies at Trinity International University under Paul Hiebert and a D.Min at Westminster Theological Seminary.
Other professional positions held by Gil include Regional Coordinator for Africa with Medical Ambassadors International. He also served as Regional Coordinator for Russia and Eastern Europe for a period of two years. He is currently serving as board member for Micah Global as well as PIR ministries (Pastor-in-Residence) providing a proven process to restore hope to “at-risk” and exited pastors and enabling them to enter ministry again. He has published several articles and is also the author of, Standing with the Vulnerable: A Curriculum for Transforming Lives and Communities published by IVP. Gil has been married for 50 years to Elmarie and God has blessed them with 3 children and 6 grandchildren.

He enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family.

Dr. Kang’e brings about 30 years of practical experience in Global missional work of partnering with local churches and Christian non-governmental organizations in several countries. His passion is in evangelism, church planting and growth, as well as mentoring and developing church and missional organization leaders. Over the years, he observed that many church and organizational leaders experience missional fatigue, burnout, and stagnation. And God has used him to help several of these leaders to find their sabbath. We are honored that Dr. Kang’e is one of our speakers during GMC-Africa 2024.
Dr. Kang’e is a certified Executive Coach and is on course for certification as a Systemic Team Coach. He holds a Master of Divinity (Christian Ministry), a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Management), and a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He is a candidate for Doctor of Ministry (Management and Leadership).
Dr. Hesbone Kang’e is the Chief Executive Officer of Life In Abundance, providing strategic leadership and overall management for a growing, impactful organization with operations across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He brings over 25 years of experience in executive leadership, organizational development, and program management within global missions and non-governmental organizations. Dr. Kang’e combines inspirational leadership with expertise in governance, strategic planning, and capacity building to advance Life In Abundance’s mission effectively. He is a certified Executive Coach and is completing a certification as a Systemic Team Coach, emphasizing leadership development and team effectiveness. Dr. Kang’e holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Divinity, and a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He is married with two adult sons.

Pastor Francis and Pamela Bukachi are the founders and leaders of Hope Alive Initiatives. They have dedicated over thirty-one years to mission work across Kenya, the Horn of Africa, West Africa, and Central Africa. Through Hope Alive Initiatives, they collaborate with like-minded partners to promote healthy mental, emotional, and spiritual growth that is firmly grounded in Scripture and the power of the Holy Spirit. For the past eight years, they have also served as pastors, equipping churches to demonstrate the kingdom of God in word, action, and spiritual signs. Francis is trained in Teaching English as a Second Language and holds a certification in project management from the Project Management Institute, while Pamela is a registered nurse and midwife. Married for twenty-nine years, they are the parents of four children, including twin sons and two daughters.

Prof. Peter B. Kibas, PhD earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree (PhD) in ntrepreneurship and a Masters degree in Vocational and Technical Education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, USA, as well as a Bachelor of Business Education from the University of New Brunswich, Frederickton, Canada.
Prof. Kibas is a Trustee of The Covenant Foundation of Kenya, a Fellow of the Kenya Institute of Management (FKIM), a Member of the Institute of Small Business Entrepreneurship (UK) and the International Council of Small Business (USA). He specifically has interests in social entrepreneurship, microfinance, as well as youth and women entrpreuneurship.
Prof. Kibas is currently a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Management and Dean of the School of Business and Economics; also iZET Innovations Hub at Zetech University.
Previously, he was the Vice Chancellor of the Presbyterian University of East Africa; Deputy Vice Chancellor (A&F) at Kabarak University; a Visiting Scholar at the University of Cape Coast (Ghana), University of Eastern Africa Baraton and the Marist International University College among others. He also holds board membership positions in various non-profit organizations, the latest being a Trustee in the Covenant Foundation NGO.
Prof. Kibas has over 35 publications in entrepreneurship and management. He has consulted for Mully Childrens Family (MCF),ILO, UNDP, World Bank, IFC, Jamii Bora Trust, Techno-Serve Kenya, the British Council, Action Aid Kenya, the World Vision, the Kenya Institute of Management, Republic of South Africa and the Government of Kenya among others. His research interests are in the Youth and Women Innovation and entrepreneurship.
He is a born-again Christian who believes in the holy trinity and living by practicing the Christian faith. An evangelist and Bible teacher to the saving grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ, he advocates that one must repent of their sins, be baptized and live a Christian life.
In 1997, after much prayer and waiting on God together with another Christian brother, Joel Chemworem, Prof. Kibas co-founded The House of Prayer Ministries which operates in the North Rift and Western Kenya. He is the National Chairman and General Overseer of the Church. Prof. Kibas is married to Theresa Cherotich for 50 years and has seven adult children with several grandchildren.
Prof. Peter B. Kibas, PhD, Ed.M, B.Ed, is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Management, and currently serves as Dean of the School of Business and Economics and Chair of the iZET Innovations Hub at Zetech University. He earned his Doctorate in Entrepreneurship from the University of Illinois, USA. Prof. Kibas pioneered Kenya’s first Master’s program in Entrepreneurship and established the Centre of Excellence in Entrepreneurship Development at USIU. With over 38 years of experience, he has extensively consulted for global organizations including the World Bank, ILO, and UNDP, focusing on youth, women entrepreneurship, and social innovation. His research and practical work have significantly influenced entrepreneurship education and microenterprise development in East Africa. He is also the National Chairman and co-founder of The House of Prayer Ministries. Prof. Kibas is married to Theresa Cherotich, with seven adult children and grandchildren.

David is a passionate youth ministry specialist and has spent a most of his ministry life working amongst young people, building youth ministries and youth leadership programs, and sharing his vast expertise with many Churches and organizations on best-practice principles.
He holds a BA degree in Theology and a Master’s in Leadership, both from PAC University, and has continuously strived grow his leadership and mentorship skills and to lead by example.
He is co-founder and director of YHub NetworX- a organization that aims to be a first of its kind one-stop Youth Ministry and Resource Centre. YHub NetworX seeks to provide churches, para-church organizations, NGO’s and government organs with the much-needed skills, training, and advice in dealing with the next generation. He also serves at PAC University as Director, Youth Leadership Development.
David’s ease, sense of humor, and ability to engage in crucial conversations enables him to connect with young and old alike. David is a versatile speaker with an ability to authoritatively address a broad array of subjects that include but are not limited to youth issues, mentorship/discipleship, leadership, marriage, parenting, among others.
On the family front he is a loving husband and a hands-on dad. He is a firm believer in his family being his first ministry. He is married to Rose Ewagata and together, they have 3 children: Nathan-18, Jeremy-14, and Zoe-11.
Rev. David Ewagata is an ordained minister of the Anglican Church of Kenya and a committed youth ministry specialist. Known as “a man at the battlefront for the soul of the next generation,” he has focused on building youth programs and leadership training. He holds a BA in Theology and a Master’s in Leadership from PAC University, where he aserves as Director of Youth Leadership Development.
David co-founded YHub NetworX, a Youth Ministry and Resource Centre that equips churches, NGOs, and government organizations to engage the next generation. Known for his humor and ability to connect across generations, he is a sought-after speaker on youth, mentorship, leadership, and family topics. David is a devoted husband to Rose and father of three, valuing family as his first ministry.

Dr. Bosson completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Louisville and served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases. While at the University of Louisville, Dr. Bosson served as the Medical Director of the Refugee Health Program (RHP) at the University of Louisville Global Health Center (GHC) where she helped establish a refugee-centered medical home with an integrated mental health program. She oversaw all medical activities within the GHC-RHP, including medical, psychiatric, social services, and community outreach for the different refugee/immigrant populations as well as conducted research around refugee health. After serving at UofL Hospital for three years, Dr. Bosson completed a second residency in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital/McLean Residency Program at Harvard Medical School, where she now serves as faculty.
In 2020, Dr. Bosson helped establish the MGH Center for Immigrant Health (CIH), an interdisciplinary virtual hub that fosters excellence in clinical care, education, advocacy, and research to improve the health and wellbeing of immigrants across all departments and clinical sites at MGH and within the broader community. In her role as the Associate Director, she oversees the various aspects of the Center, including developing a refugee and immigrant mental health program, and working on provider education. Additionally, Dr. Bosson is actively involved in creating a Global Mental Health curriculum aimed at preparing trainees for roles in global mental health across service delivery, capacity building, education, research, and leadership, both locally and internationally.
Rahel was born in Ethiopia and raised in Europe. She is married to Chris Bosson, the pastor for discipleship and missions at Hope Christian Church in the Boston area. Chris and Rahel have 3 children: Esther, Enoch, and Adonai. Rahel’s life is driven by her passion for Christ, who serves as the motivation behind all that she does.

She currently serves as the Director of Spiritual Ministry at MBF where her focus is on ensuring that the gospel is preached through healthcare. She has over ten years of GP clinical practice and management experience. Muthoni also serves with the Youth ministry and Christian Education with Christ is the Answer Ministries (CITAM) Syokimau. When she has free time, Muthoni enjoys reading, spending time with her children and gardening.
Dr. Muthoni Magayu is both a medical doctor and a theologian. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree (MBChB) from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Studies from Africa International University. She currently serves as the Director of Spiritual Ministry at MBF, where she is dedicated to ensuring that the gospel is integrated into healthcare. Dr. Magayu brings over ten years of clinical practice and management experience as a general practitioner. In addition, she is actively involved in youth ministry and Christian education at Christ is the Answer Ministries, Syokimau. Beyond her professional and ministry roles, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending quality time with her children.

Malele’s story weaves through the corporate and the missional. Over the last 17 years, he has served across East and West Africa in executive roles within banking, maternal health innovation, and social venture building. He has helped launch ventures like Totohealth and Mlozone, scaled frontline sales teams, and forged pathways for Christian literature to reach prisons, churches, and schools.
He brings a unique voice to conversations around marketplace ministry, shaped by his background in communications, a first doctorate in public engagement, and a current MBA in Artificial Intelligence. His heart, however, beats most deeply in mentorship raising young men, walking with future leaders, and serving the Church beyond the pulpit.
Malele is a husband, a father to three boys, and a relentless champion for Africa’s potential, one book, one leader, one partnership at a time.
Malele Ngalu is a builder of systems, partnerships, and people. As the Regional Director for East Africa and Global Logistics Lead at Oasis International, he oversees the movement of Christian resources across borders, supporting those shaping the future of the African Church. Based in Nairobi, Malele drives a continental vision to equip leaders with biblically grounded and contextually African tools.
With 17 years of experience across East and West Africa, Malele has held executive roles in banking, maternal health innovation, and social venture building. He has helped launch ventures like Totohealth and Mlozone, scaled frontline sales teams, and expanded access to Christian literature in prisons, churches, and schools.
Malele’s unique perspective on marketplace ministry is shaped by his background in communications, a doctorate in public engagement, and ongoing MBA studies in Artificial Intelligence. A devoted mentor, husband, and father of three, he is passionate about nurturing leaders and championing Africa’s potential—one book, one leader, one partnership at a time.

Tirus and Winnie Githaka are the co-founders and co-directors of CHE Kenya and the Community Health Education Center. They lead this missional organization in mobilizing and training missionaries holistically to serve both open and restricted-access communities across East Africa and the Horn of Africa. With a passion for integral mission, they equip local leaders and churches for effective community transformation. Their ministry includes leading learning labs to empower indigenous mission organizations and providing member care to sustain national missionaries. Tirus draws on his background in microbiology, medical research, and finance, while Winnie brings expertise in social work, international development, and organizational leadership. Together, they are committed to caring for those who care for others, strengthening member care providers across the Global South.


Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Collins has successfully modernized financial systems, streamlined budgeting and resource allocation, diversified revenue streams, and implemented transparent reporting mechanisms. His innovative strategies, including process automation and data analytics, have consistently boosted operational efficiency and financial security across dynamic and complex environments.
He currently finalizing his PhD in Leadership. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management and he is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya. He is born again and is single. Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Collins enjoys traveling, listening to music, and engaging in regular fitness activities, all of which contribute to a balanced and dynamic lifestyle.
He is committed to fostering leadership growth through comprehensive development, training, and mentorship programs. He also takes an active role in his local church’s missions and evangelism efforts, demonstrating a strong dedication to reaching unreached communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ

She holds a PhD in Media, Migration, and Development from the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU-Germany), a European Union Erasmus Mundus tripartite master’s in human Rights Practice (Roehampton-UK, Gothenburg-Sweden, Tromso-Norway). A Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Sociology (University of Nairobi), and a Diploma in Journalism (KIMC). Her journalism career spans a practice in Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda, where she also served as Gender Focal Person for an EU-led governance project.
Dr. Radoli’s research, publications, and conference presentations have been featured globally, including at Princeton, Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, American University, DC, the UN in New York, and Goethe University among others. She has led key studies, notably as Principal Investigator for the Daystar University, Kenya Film Commission Research (2020) and has been a visiting scholar at BTU and a research fellow at Leuphana Institute of Advanced Studies in Culture and Society (LIAS-CAS), Leuphana University.
An award-winning communicator recipient of the African Women in Europe Media Award and BTU Women Empowerment Award, she is deeply engaged in academic, diaspora, and governance networks, including serving on the Catholic Exchange Service (KAAD) Scholarship Selection Committee and board member of the Conference of African PhDs in Germany (CAPiG). She has served on the Media Council of Kenya (MCK) taskforce on betting regulation, on the committee that reviewed the code of conduct for media practice and a judge for the 2025 Annual Journalism Excellence Awards (AJEA). She is a co-founder of the Communication Content Network (CCN), that bridges communication research and industry practice.
Her expertise bridges media training, social research, and intercultural communication, offering rich insights into how storytelling and journalism drive social change. Her research focus is Media, migration and development, trauma Journalism, digital media, and constructs of Artificial Intelligence (AI).


Tim has worked as a strategy consultant mostly in the UK and Middle East (where he was based for many years). His work included numerous economic and social reform programmes in the region, such affordable housing and preventing labour abuse. He also actively encouraged local and international Christians to fulfil their calling as a God’s community, wherever and in whatever season God graciously places them. He is also a member of a community of practice of anthropologists seeking to help communities understand each other and communicate well.
Tim grew up in a Christian family who emphasised hospitality to the marginalised. Some were marginalised by poverty or social stigma, whilst others were marginalised by their positions of responsibility, high status and power (which distanced them from people who could provide genuine care). He was baptised as a teenager and has passionately followed Christ ever since.

I hold a bachelor of science with education (Biology and Chemistry), from Makerere University, a master of Education in Administration and planning, from Uganda Christian University, a post graduate diploma in human resource management from Kampala international university, and a certificate in Education leadership and management Training for Secondary School Headteachers, of the Aga khan institute of higher Education.
I began my career as a classroom teacher, served as a Deputy headteacher and for the past 17 years, I have been privileged to serve as Headteacher, currently at Iganga Secondary School in Uganda.
My leadership has driven significant improvement in academic performance, teacher development and stakeholder engagement.
As a strong advocate for gender equity in education, I have championed initiatives that empower the girl child through mentorship, inclusive learning environments and leadership development opportunities.

I served for two (2) years as Dean of Students’ Affairs at The Episcopal University (TEU) of South Sudan (2022-2023) and joined Life in Abundance South Sudan in 2024.
Educational background: A graduate of Africa International University (AIU), Nairobi, Kenya, with a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies (MDIVBS) (2015-2018) and Juba University Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies with a bachelor’s degree in the faculty of Geology (1990-2005)Currently a PhD student in Theological studies (World Christianity) at Africa International University (AIU), Karen, Nairobi, Kenya.

Rev. George Taban Tawad Ayuku, a South Sudanese national, is the Executive Director of Life In Abundance South Sudan (2024–present) and Pastor at All Saints Cathedral, Juba. He was a key pioneer of the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES) in Sudan, co-founding the Fellowship of Christian University Students (FOCUS Sudan) in 1994. He served as Training Secretary (1994–1996) and General Secretary (1996–2008) of FOCUS Sudan. He was Country Director of Linking In Aid Sudan (2009) and Associate Regional Secretary for IFES-EPSA Eastern Africa (2009–2014). He served as Dean of Student Affairs at The Episcopal University of South Sudan (2022–2023). Rev. Ayuku holds a Master of Divinity from Africa International University (2015–2018) and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Juba University (1990–2005). He is currently pursuing a PhD in Theological Studies (World Christianity) at Africa International University, Nairobi. He is married to Mary Kamilo Wani, and they have two children, Samuel and Peace George.

Joe Sindorf is the Global Missions Pastor at Crossroads Bible Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He holds a degree in television and film from the University of New Hampshire and studied journalism and media at Harvard University. Joe also completed professional certificate programs at Maine Media College and Kendall College of Art & Design. An award-winning film and television creator, Joe has worked in over 85 countries as a producer, director, and content creator. Alongside his wife Kathy, he helps authors complete book projects, many of which have become Amazon bestsellers. Ordained as a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA), Joe has a passion for sharing stories of God’s work worldwide. Outside ministry, he enjoys traveling, worship, cooking, and spending time with his wife, daughters, and granddaughters, which enriches his life and ministry with joy and purpose.

Prof Daniel Ojuka is an associate professor at the Department of Surgery Dean Faculty of Health Sciences University of Nairobi.
He is a general surgeon and consultant who has subspecialized in breast surgery and has been involved in the technical working group for setting up guidelines for breast cancer screening and treatment with the government. His research interest has been in breast cancer and medical education. His PhD was in surgical education. He has been president of the Surgical Society of Kenya, currently the governor of the American College of Surgeons, Kenyan Chapter. He has been the regional leader of the International Christian Medical and Dentist Association and is now a member of the international board of the same.
Prof. Daniel Ojuka is an associate professor and Chairman, Department of Surgery, at the University of Nairobi’s Faculty of Health Sciences. He serves as a general surgeon and consultant with subspecialization in breast surgery, and has played a key role on government technical working groups developing national breast cancer screening and treatment guidelines. With a PhD in surgical education, Prof. Ojuka’s research focuses on breast cancer and medical education. He is a former president of the Surgical Society of Kenya and currently serves as governor of the American College of Surgeons, Kenyan Chapter. Prof. Ojuka has also led as the regional leader of the International Christian Medical and Dental Association (ICMDA) and is now a board member at the international level. His expertise and leadership have advanced clinical excellence and surgical education within Kenya and the wider medical community.
